A Walk in the Park

My friend, Leah, and I took our kiddos to the Grapevine Botanical Gardens today. It was so fun! We debated about going because it was a little chilly this morning. But, we decided to layer on the clothing and go for it. I'm so glad that we did!

They still had a few tulips in bloom, a fountain, and a fun playground. We had a picnic lunch and let the kiddos play. I love the springtime!!!

Leah found two earthworms and was holding them in the air to get Clayton to smile for some pictures. Is that a good friend or what?!?! I'm telling you - she's the salt of the earth for sure! After a few pictures, he got to play with the worms. I think that was his favorite part of the day. He's such a boy!
Maggie smelling the flowers. She was so cute the way that she would scrunch up her nose and sniff. :)
Drew got fussy while I was taking their picture, so Clayton bent down and gave him a kiss. :)

We had a super fun time with you guys! Did the worms make it home with you guys? Hey...maybe they could have been dinner for the lizard...hahaha!

Can't wait to get together again.
