Catherine & Luke's Wedding - October 22, 2015

Miss Catherine has babysat for us since Clayton was 3.  She was in high school then, and Clayton always loved her to pieces!  She has always been so sweet to our boys!  We've missed her for the last 4 years while she was living in Colorado to go to college.  She was sweet to visit the boys often when she came home for visits.  We also went to Denver to see her 2 years ago.  We kept in touch via emails, texts, and FaceTime.

Miss Catherine got engaged to her high school sweetheart, and we were thrilled for her!  We were even more thrilled when she & Luke asked our kids to be in their wedding.  What an honor!  They asked Clayton to be a junior groomsman, Maggie to be a junior bridesmaid, Drew to be the ring bearer, Sadie to be the flower girl, and Owen to be the family treasurer.  We have been looking forward to their wedding with great anticipation over the last few months.  :)

The kids did a wonderful job at the wedding!  We were so proud of all 5 of them!  They looked quite adorable and behaved like perfect gentlemen and little ladies.  It was a great night!

Our oldest kiddos looked so big!  I couldn't get over Mags in her black fancy dress and Clayton in that tuxedo.  Wedding attire definitely aged them a bit.  ;)
Drew & Sadie Bug...  These two!  It took them a bit to get into the linking arms thing.  They just couldn't quite figure it out.  Ha!  We did lots of practicing.

Owen was the family treasurer.  He carried a picture frame that contained photos of their loved ones that had passed away.  He did a great job walking down the aisle and placing the frame on a chair at the front.  Trusting a 4 year old to carry glass at a wedding was a bold move.  Haha!  So glad that we didn't let Miss Catherine down!
These dapper dudes...  They clean up pretty well, if I do say so myself.  :)
I love these 5 so, so much!  They are the best of friends.

After the wedding, it was reception time!  My Baptist boys sure do love to cut a rug!  They couldn't wait to dance the night away.  At one point, I had my back to the dance floor but turned when I heard a bunch of cheering.  When I did, I saw all THREE of my children doing the worm on the dance floor.  I about died!  Where do they get this stuff?!?!

This sums up my three so well.  Clayton was talking Miss Jamie's ear off, Drew was cheesy smiling while dancing with Catherine, and Owen was being a goofball in the background.  Sounds about right.  ;)

The wedding fell on the night before Drew's 7th birthday.  They had the DJ call Drew up and all of the wedding guests sang Happy Birthday to him.  As you can tell, he hated all of the attention.  Haha!

It was a fun night celebrating the new Mr. and Mrs. Meyers!  We wish Luke & Catherine a lifetime of happiness together!

Edited to Add Professional Pictures  :)
