On the Thursday before Spring Break, we picked the boys up from school and surprised them with a night at Great Wolf Lodge. Wade had cashed in a hotel credit to make for an economical way to kick off Spring Break. We had so much fun!
Clayton participated in our church's Association Bible Drill on March 6th. He did such a wonderful job! I am so proud of the dedication that he has shown this year to committing Scripture to memory. Wade & I both loved Bible Drill as a child, so it thrills my heart to see our child doing the same thing. :)
Our school hosted a living museum on March 3rd. The kids were able to choose a biography to read. Then they were supposed to dress like the person and prepare a speech in the first person about their person's life. When anyone pushed their "play button" they gave their speech. This year, they combined Living Museum with Grandparents Day. Having Grammie & Papaw there to cheer them on was an added bonus! :)
Clayton chose to be Julius Caesar and Drew was Dr. Seuss. They learned a ton and did such a wonderful job playing their parts. So proud of them!
We voted! Well, one of us did. The other was just in it for the sticker. He may have asked if "Broccoli Obama" was still the president while we were in line. Loudly. ;)
