My sweet baby snuck a note in my lunchbox before I left for work. So precious! I just love that thoughtful little guy!

The Big Bad Musical
Our little school presented their first musical this week. It was so cute! Clayton is in theater, so he was able to play a part. The musical was called The Big Band Musical and it was all about the big, bad wolf and him being on trial for all of the wrongs that he had committed (blowing down the 3 little pigs' house, impersonating Little Red Riding Hood's grandmother, making the Boy Who Cried Wolf cry wolf, etc.). The jury was made up of fairy tale characters, and Clayton was Peter Pan. I thought that all of the kids did a wonderful job, and the musical was wonderful!

Adele Concert
For my birthday this year Wade gave me tickets to the Adele concert. I was soooo excited!!! My birthday was in August and the concert was November 2nd. I loved having something to look forward to!
Finally, the day arrived! Our seats were awesome and we had the best time!!!
When Wade bought the tickets, we had no idea that it would fall on the night of Game 7 of the World Series. Ruh-roh! I kinda thought that he may ditch me - ha! He was a good sport and stuck with the plan. But, he did sneak peeks at his MLB app pretty often. ;)
Seriously. Such a fun night! Thanks, Babe, for my awesome present!
After the concert, we ducked into a restaurant to watch the end of the game. Unfortunately, there was a massive storm in Cleveland, so there was a rain delay. Ugh!
We hustled home during the rain delay and were able to watch the end of the game on our own TV. The Cubbies WIN!!!!
It was a great night for all! :)

Halloween 2016
This year we had a Texas A&M baseball player, some sort of a spooky guy, and a red Power Ranger for Halloween. We went trick or treating at Pammy's with our second cousins and had the best time!

Storybook Parties & College Jersey Day
Our little school tries to celebrate the fun of Fall without doing all of the yuck Halloween types of things. Our Grammar school kids have the option of dressing up like a storybook character for their party day. The Logic & Rhetoric kids had a college jersey day and played flag football. It was fun for everyone!
