Knowing that my Mama is celebrating Easter in Heaven makes the cross even more precious! Thank you, Jesus, for shedding your blood on Calvary! Your sacrifice allowed my Mom to spend Eternity with you, and I sure look forward to joining her one day. Tis so sweet to trust in Jesus!
The older boys had their Easter parties at school on March 24th. There had been quite a bit of rain, so it was too muddy to hunt eggs in the field. The awesome 1st Grade teachers came up with clues to lead the kids on a egg hunt around campus. They are so great!
Every year, my boys are sweet to indulge me in a Spring photo shoot. Usually, they don their Easter clothes and sit in the tulips at the Grapevine Botanical Gardens. ;) This year, there wasn't a tulip to be found at our usual spot. I was so surprised! We made do and still got lots of cute shots. On the way home, I talked the boys into taking a few more pics in the bluebonnets. Now, that's love! :)
One of our friends, Brad, coaches (and plays) hockey. He is a great coach and has had many kids advanced to playing minor league hockey. Several of the kids that he has coached now play for the Fort Worth Brahmas. Brad was kind enough to get us tickets to a game. The boys loved it! They got to high five the players as they skated onto the ice and even got to hang out in the locker room after the game. The Brahmas won, too! Such a fun night!
Since Clayton didn't have a birthday party this year, we let him take his best buddy to Mountasia over Spring Break. It was a fun day!
