Double Date Night - 4/17

After the Ranger game, we went on a non-traditional double date with our sweet friends, the Youngs.  Months ago, I mentioned to Tracey that I had never shot Wade's gun, but would like to learn.  She decided that we needed to make that happen, and, thus, a double date was born.  ;)

We went shooting at Bass Pro and then went to dinner at Esparza's.  It was so fun!  Anyone who knows me, knows that shooting guns isn't really in my nature.  But... I think it is a good skill to have.  As it turns out, I'm actually a pretty good shot and really enjoyed my firearms experience.  I told Wade that I may need a gun of my own, preferably with my monogram in gold script on the handle.  Ha!

At one point, Wade told me to shoot at the target like it was really an intruder.  Y'all - the adrenaline got to me, and I blew that sucker up!  I may have gotten reprimanded for rapid fire by the man running the range.  Ooops!  I didn't know that wasn't allowed.  So out of character for me.... but I had a great time.  :)
