October 10th was our annual trek to the pumpkin patch with the Hunt chicas. We always drive to the same patch that is in Leah's hometown, about an hour away. It is our very favorite patch - keeps getting even better year after year!
Sometimes I can't believe that I get to be their mom...
These five are the best of friends! I love the bond that they share. :)
This was our fifth year at the same patch. It always makes me happy/sad to look at old pictures from the same event year after year. I sure miss the babies in these pictures, but outings are so much easier now that they are older. I feel like we are in the coveted "sweet spot." They are old enough to be easy to take places and so much fun, but they are young enough that they want to be with us. I hope that this stage of life lasts a long, long, looonnnngggg time!
Can we just discuss this bald little nugget??? Man, he was an adorable 5 month old!
The boys loved the baby chicks this year.
And the goats, of course.
One of the things that we love about this patch, is that it is never crowded. If there is a school group, they leave at noon, usually, and we have the place to ourselves. We took a hayride that the kids really enjoyed.
This nice guy made the hayride so much fun! He was silly and goofy - had the kids cracking up. He taught them how to do "owl calls" and encouraged them to call the owls often. ;)
O was very serious about his owl calls. Ha!
The barrel train was a hit as well.
Pumpkin Patch day is always one of our favorite days of the year. The kids start asking in September when we are going to go. I love their enthusiasm for our little tradition! I can't wait to see how much they have grown by October 2015. :)
