Colorado Trip 2013 - Day 6 The Pike's Peak Cog Railway

On Monday, we drove to Manitou to ride the Pike's Peak Cog Railway. Unfortunately, because of the snow, we weren't able to go all the way to the peak.  :(  It was a really pretty ride, though.  You just can't beat those mountain views...

We stopped just before this hairpin turn.  I can't say that I was sad about not going further.  That curve made me nervy...

The conductor stopped at one point to let us get out and take pictures.  It was just gorgeous - pictures could never do it justice.

 Drew wasn't really into posing for pictures.  Clayton was a trooper, though.  

I cannot get over how handsome he is...

We left Manitou and headed to Colorado Springs for the next leg of our vacay.
