Hendrickson Christmas 2013

We headed to Sugarland the weekend before Christmas to celebrate Christmas with my family.  We had a great time!  It was a wonderful way to kick off the Christmas celebrations.  It was Baby Seth's first Christmas, so that made it extra special.  :)

Attempt #1 at a cousin picture - Owen wasn't feeling it  ;)
Baby Seth's first Christmas present ever was from Auntie Sarah.
I hope that makes the baby book.  Ha!
I snatched up that baby as quick as I could.  Sweet boy...

My mom made Christmas cookies with the boys.  Owen and Drew may have had more M&Ms than cookie.  ;)

Another attempt at a picture of my Mom's six grandsons.
Baby Seth was in the carrier, but it counts, right???
I have to pause here and write about the funniest conversation that I had with my 8 year old nephew, Jonathan (in the orange plaid shirt above).  He is a hilarious little character, and has made us all laugh so hard since he was placed with my sister and brother-in-law 4 years ago.  Anyway...  Jonathan looked at me on Saturday afternoon and said, "Aunt Sarah, how many times have you been pregnant."  I was kind of caught off guard, but answered, "Well, three times.  Once with Clayton, once with Drew, and once with Owen."  He looked across the table at his cousins and said, "What?!?!?  You mean that you didn't adopt any of these people???"  Ha!  I laughed so hard!  I love that that is his reality.  My sister and Jeff have created an environment for their boys that is filled with so many adoptive families that he thinks we are weird to have three biological children.  I think that is so great!

Thanks for hosting us, Mom & Dad!  We loved our time with you!
