Perot Museum of Nature & Science

Leah and I took the kiddos to the Perot Museum of Nature & Science on Friday, April 19th.  Y'all - it was so cool!  We all loved every minute and can't wait to go back.  :)

This pterodactyl was Drew's favorite.
 Cute kiddos
Owen was a big fan of the viewing windows that were on his level.
I was a big fan of not having to take him out of the stroller.  Win-win.  ;)

They had an exhibit on oil & natural gas drilling and production.  My Dad is a petroleum engineer, so it was fun to show the boys what he does.

Isn't that the cutest photo bomber that you have ever seen?!?!  I saw that polka dot bow pop up and knew exactly who's smiling face I was about to see.  We love our Sadie Bug!

This exhibit was pretty timely as well - the role of electricity within the heart.  I recently had a procedure performed on my heart to destroy an extra electrical pathway that I was born with.  The boys thought it was cool to hold their hands on the electrodes and watch their EKG.  Very cool.

Clayton's favorite part of the day was experimenting with this artificial hand.  Mrs. Leah helped him put his arm in the sensor and his movements made the hand move.  My little science boy was intrigued.  :)
The Children's museum floor was a big hit as well.  I think that our 5 little monkeys could have spent an entire day just in that section of the building.

We had such a fun day and are already looking forward to going back to the Perot Museum.  If you are looking for an activity in the Dallas area, this one gets two thumbs up from our crowd.  :)
