What Not To Wear - Preschool Edition

Clayton has been really into picking out his own clothes and getting himself dressed in the morning, which would be a huge time saver, if he didn't come downstairs dressed like this:

I think it is safe to say that he will not be the next Tim Gunn, because not even Mr. Gunn himself could "make it work, people!" with this getup. I don't know what I enjoy the most about this outfit - the fleece hat with fringe on the top, the cargo shorts (the high was 42 degress yesterday, mind you), or the white socks with the light up sandals that he got for his 3rd birthday (his toes are hanging off of the end, in case you can't tell from the picture).

Holly, I think that we need to perform a fashion intervention for my little man. :)

I can assure you that Clayton did not get his fashion sense from my half of his DNA. Surely not... (says the Mama wearing pink fuzzy socks, grey fleece lounge pants, a black tank, and my grey bathrobe). Ha!

I like the outfit. Specifically the shirt with the A&M patch. Much better the all the burnt orange stuff he usually wears.

I think Clayton's been getting his inspiration from Nick. Scroll down. Doesn't he look a little like the Elf on the Shelf? :) This little elf can pull off just about anything!

I think Tim Gunn would love it! Maybe he could "get inspired" by it!
