Play Ball!

I've never been a big sports fan. If we go to a game or a game watching party, I am there more for the social aspect than the actual sporting event.

However, ya'll, I have a new favorite sport - 3 & 4 year old t-ball! I could watch it all. day. long. I didn't expect to enjoy it so much, but I really do. It makes me thrilled to pieces that I have two little boys that I get to watch play ball. I just think that they look so cute in those tiny little baseball pants and cleats with their baseball caps on. And, don't even get me started on how precious they are when they cross home plate or race from the infield to get a ball. So stinkin' adorable!

Clayton's team is called the Florida Gators and he is #8. He really enjoyed the game despite the fact that (unbeknownst to us) he was on the verge of a 24 hour bug. A few hours after his game, he was throwing up and running a temperature of 101.2. :( He seems much better today and hasn't had a bit of fever. I'm so thankful that it wasn't anything more severe.

Seriously, have you ever seen anything so cute?!?!

For those of you who actually understand baseball, I totally apologize for any technical terms that I botched. I don't really know much about the lingo yet. I'm just loving the little uniforms and cheering, "That's my baby!" when he crosses home plate. Ha!

Well, I think I may have a new fave sport too! What a little handsome ball player! We can't wait to root Clayton on from the stands!

So fun and what perfect weather for an outdoor sport!

Baseball - t-ball - is the best. I can see you becoming a fan. Clayton does look so cute in his gear. I agree with Hannah; he is so grown-up looking.
