Flower Mound Pumpkin Patch

Yesterday morning Leslie & I took Anna & Clayton over to the Flower Mound Pumpkin Patch. The kids had a ball! This is the third year that I have taken Clayton to this pumpkin patch (if your feeling nostalgic you can click HERE and HERE to relive our past trips). It is always such a fun place to go, but it seems more and more crowded each year. On Friday, there were several school buses full of kids on field trips. It made it hard to keep up with our little monkeys when there were masses of kids that were all the same size. Never fear, though, I only lost Clayton twice. :) I'm only kidding... Kind of.

The kids bounced in the bounce houses, laughed at all of the plywood character cutouts, played in the pumpkins, and had an all around great time. Just before we left, Anna spotted some horses on the other side of the fence from the parking lot. We walked over and the kids got to pet them and play with them. I think it was the highlight of the day for both of them. ;)

Drew was napping at home while Daddy worked, so he didn't get to come along. :( Since Clayton had so much fun and Drew didn't get to go, we will probably go back in the next week or 2. We are also planning to visit another pumpkin patch this week with some pals. So, there will be TONS o' pumpkin pics over the next few weeks. ;) All of the rain has postponed our usual autumn activities, so we will have to squeeze all of our fall fun into the next few weeks. Yay! I love this time of year!
