Family Photos

Every year around Christmas time I force my husband (and now my child as well) to participate in the annual family picture. Wade absolutely hates the process, but endures it because he knows that it is something that I enjoy. This year I didn't want to spend a lot of money on pictures, and I wanted to be able to have the negatives (in case that I wanted to blow one up). So, my friend, Angie, (who is as crazy about pictures as I am) graciously offered to take our pictures. I took some of her, her husband, and their little girl as well. It was like our own little portrait session.

Anyone who has kids can attest to the fact that taking portraits with toddlers can be a very difficult task. Even I would agree that the photo session on Saturday was positively painful. But... we got a couple of cute pictures. I am thinking about blowing one up to an 11 x 14 to hang over our fireplace. I may also use one in our Christmas card. So... leave a comment and tell me which one is your favorite. :) (I am the world's worst decision maker.)

Option 1

Option 2

Option 3

Option 4

Option 5

They're all cute, but my vote goes to option 5 :)
I like the brown/blue color combination - good job!

I like #2 the best and #4 second best! There all precious! I think that Jeff is as hard to photograph as a 2 year old, but I may be wrong. We can't get a good picture for our Christmas card to save our life!

Bring us a picture when you come to visit this weekend! We like #1 & #2 - looks like #2 is the best bet considering all the votes.

See you in a few days :)
